I was showing a prospective Search Engine Optimisation client my website and the results for searches in Google for 'SEO Ilminster' and it got me thinking about targeting the whole first page of 10 results for the search "SEO Ilminster". Many of the results in search engines are for 'generic white label' sites that target Ilminster, pretending they are in Ilminster but are actually elsewhere.

So I am starting a daily blog to write useful topical articles about SEO, to see how well I can do. Lets call it "Seovember"! Here is a link for the search in Google for seo+ilminster that I am targeting.

I know of 2 reputable SEO firms nearby, Teapot Creative & Morphsites but neither of these are easy to find in my search. If you work at either Teapot or Morphsites and see this blog post, I would love to hear from you with regards to working for you, or with you.

Google isnt the only search engine though, and I am also interested in following how other search engines pick up my Seovember Campaign so here are links to all the search engines I am targeting:

It takes time for SEO to work, so this is a good list to help monitor progress for Seovember and my aim to get more results. Lets see how many spots I can achieve.
